Wait, is this really a thing?
Yep. unfortunately it is. Back when my daughter was younger, my wife and I had to wait in lines twice to ride things we both wanted to ride. Gone are the days that the kid just stepped through and waited on the parents to come around from behind the exit gate. (I remember doing that COUNTLESS times with my dad). Nowadays, you gotta be REAL careful. Parks don't want to take on the responsibility of a kid going missing.
That's actually how I rode my first looping coaster. I was stepping through and my dad pulled me down into the seat and pulled down the harness. I was big enough by then but was still a little timid about loop coasters. That was on the "WABASH CANNONBALL". I was scared to death. But... I've never looked back. I got off and immediately said "Let's go again".
