Can you bring your dog to a hotel? Also, Carowinds has a kennel that I've used a few times.

Good question,I can but can not leave him in the room unattended. Also his meds have to remain refrigerated so that’s another issue. But how are the kennels? Are the pets secured where no one has access to your pet other than you? Are they climate controlled? He is my baby and I am so particular about his care.

Question for you park experts out there...I am going to the park soon with my 9 year old but without my wife so it will be just the two of us. He isn't tall enough to ride Fury yet. I know they won't let him wait in line with me and cross over the train in the station to wait until I get back around but is there a way for me to ride without him having to wait outside the queue with the general public?

You can get a parent swap pass. This will allow one person to wait in line and the other adult and child to wait at the exit. Once the first person has ridden, the other adult can then board from the exit while the first adult waits with the child. Just ask for the pass at your first ride and it can be used at every ride.

Looks like it's climate controlled. Also, you could give him medicine. I would think that you can call to verify if they have a refrigerator on hand, or possibly bring his medicine in a cooler on ice?

Won't have the wife with me, that's the issue. I was hoping he could just wait in line with me and then stand in the station while I ride and that way I'm only away from him for just a couple minutes and he's not out in the park but they won't let him cross over the train.

I am here as well! That mist on afterburn felt fantastic, and really adds onto the experience.

It’s a beautiful day at the park, and crowds aren’t too bad.

I wish they would change the name of the theater back to Midway Music Hall. Or maybe even Grand Theater, Carousel Grand Theatre. I just don’t like the current name and feel it is too bland. But the new signs do look nice.
