I feel a new facade may be in the works one off-season and a roof over scrambler to match the theme as well as other buildings in the area.

Just got back from the park, here are a few comments/observations:

- The lightposts leading into the plaza have posters of the North/South Carolina flag in each respective state. Pretty obscure observation but it’s a nice touch. Also in the plaza, the stage is getting overhauled for the new nighttime show “Turn Up”. Overall the area looks pretty good.

-They’re setting up for the Great Carolina Festival and the various set pieces look really nice.

-While I was on Windseeker, I could see some yelllow and orange markers on the part of the construction site by Dodg’ems.
One of the footers looked like it had concrete poured for it but I couldn’t get a decent pic.

Loving that new Carowinds Theatre signage. It fits the area much nicer. Still, a facade makeover would be even better. But the little things go a long way.

Hopefully Scrambler gets some love in the off season too, whether it gets moved elsewhere in the park or not.

It would be nice if they did some minor improvements to the scrambler, and maybe move it to county fair

For the theater, I would love to see a main hallway entryway similar to KI’s theatre. Then that could connect to the two lobbies. This would be especially useful in inclement weather, and would create better storage for strollers and such. This used to work great at the original Harmony Hall.

I agree a bigger lobby area would be great and I think the signage on the outside should be lit also I think a bigger stage is a must.

I’m sure it’s just a bit of cross promotion. Personally I wouldn’t want a Bojangles’ at the park. As good as it is, I fear they’d scale down the menu like they did with Chick Fil-A to the point where it would just be Sandwiches and Supremes.

They’re not definitely getting a Bojangles. That’s the Bojangles social media team doing a takeover for promo.

Bojangles atleast in my town has Carowinds coupons, they have for years. Ironically my town’s Chic-Fil-A does not to my knowledge. Subway has also had Carowinds coupons recently.

It's great to see them start doing that. Cedar Point did it when I was there in 2011 and it was a great way to get more interaction with the park guests.

That's awesome! As someone said earlier, Cedar Point has been doing this for a while now. I'm glad Carowinds has jumped on this and I hope they continue doing it.
