Maybe this is old news to most of you, but it's new to me. They've renamed Scooby's Ghoster Coaster to "Fairly Odd Coaster", and Taxi Jam has been renamed "Hey Arnold's Taxi Chase".

Does anyone here like the new names? I don't!

I had heard that. I don't really care about the Taxi Jam switch, the whole entire area needs to be Nick Central instead of three different kid areas.

I think the main reason they changed the coaster was well first of all to fit the nick theme, and so that there wasnt two scooby doo attractions in the park. Although I would rather they just change the shooter to something else and leave the coaster as Scooby Doo.

I also don't care much about the name changes. It dosn't change the ride any.

Can't say that I like the name change for Scooby Doo... But ah well, things change I guess. Nothing to get in a fit about.

After all it is just a name change. The coasters are still the same as they where last year.

In my mind, it will always be Scooby. Even 2 years from now, I will still say "let's go ride Scooby" instead of "Fairly Odd Coaster".....

Just hope they don't take out any more hills!

Like Swampie said...to most of us, its always gonna be Scooby Doo. I really don't care about the rest of the renamings. But, Scooby is the one that's gonna hurt.

I had heard that PKD was doing this, but I thought that it was purley speculation as to if PC would do it also. I'll still call it Scooby Doo, but I just hate that there changing it's name officially.


To me this is a much bigger tragedy than that Damn pile of ashes some of you cried about last year. What was her name? The Carolina Queen?

Acually that was a mistake by RCDB.com.

They ment to change the names under Carowinds but did PKD by accident. Everything is all fixed now and the PKD coasters have their names back.

I also don't care, I'll still call it Taxi Jam & Ghoster Coaster out of habbit.

I don't know how you can make the cartoon hey arnold fit into a roller coaster, I see it more of a simulator.

I agree. I woner if their going to do any kind of new themeing for Taxi Jam or just replace the sign.

It would be cool if the changed the color of the trains and put some type themeing round the track.
