I thought about that too at first but from this article.....

https://www.rodauthority.com/news/moons ... -hot-rods/

Moonshine running began right after Prohibition started.... Early 20's.

After it ended in 1933.... I think Moonshine was still illegal.

Moonshine running extend out past 1933 because there was a demand for it..... Cheap Liquor..... No Taxes.

^Added to the fact that most (if not all) NC counties were considered "dry" in those days meaning no alcohol period.

Also, I have never seen a mack train modified to a theme. All mack trains look the same to me (sans the spinners) of course. Is it possible to have a muscle car theme on a Mack train and if so, is that something that can be easily modified thru Mack or would they need to outsource it? Just curious.

Mack's new CanCan Coaster car looks completely different, I know its not a launched coaster, but it shows they can easily modify the train.

Also, thought this was an interesting piece of information about 1937 - 1940 Ford Cars, from Wikipedia, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1937_Ford: "The 1937-1940 generation of Fords is one of the most popular automobiles for hot rodding. Early stock car racing drivers also used Fords of this generation among other cars. This Ford also formed the basis for a style of dirt track racing car."

I don’t want to get my hopes up but I’m sold on the whole granny’s moonshine type theme. It also pays tribute to the two former coasters that once occupied this section of the park. A snake theme just seems a little generic by comparison.

Ok so I forgot to post a construction update yesterday so I am now. I have a huge question. What are all of those boxes and things under Fury for?! It looks like one is shaped like a broken ship.

2 min. 24 seconds of ride time is pretty exciting, especially since none of it will be going up a lift hill! :D That'll be a few seconds shy of Blue Fire and Icon, but about 15 seconds longer than Helix.

16 riders per train; Mack's Icon-style trains confirmed. We basically already knew this would have Mack's Icon-style 16-seater trains, but this confirmation was nice.

2 launches, we already knew that.

550 has me stumped too. Maybe LEDs?

3,255 is obviously track length. A bit short for a Mega Launch, but it's all what you do with the layout, not how long the ride actually is.
