I think they're going to link the old County Fair to this new ride's plaza. There could even be a midway where you walk through part of this coaster. I don't think that's entirely out of the question. Just my personal theory.

So Canada’s Wonderland 200’ snooze coaster will be announced on August 15th, wonder if ours will be then or Coaster Day on the 16th?

I dont think this picture posted last night, this area beside dodgems is very flat and I believe would be ideal area for the flyers and it could easily connect the new coaster and the area where the entrance will be. I do agree there could be a midway of sorts, but I think it will be a whole new area, eventually. I think its more possible for a crossroads re-theme and just some connection from dodgems to countyfair/carolina harbor. I wouldnt even be surprised for a path all the way to carolina harbor with a new entry or something, doubt that would happy next year though.... I do think this flat area could be used for the flyers though, or some other flat...

I think ours will be announced on the 15 because last year cedar fair announced all the new coasters on the same day

Yea I think that is very possible. Should be right around that time frame of August 13-17 since that is the typical time frame. I wouldnt be surprised if we get a "clue" with a date this Thursday at 8:30am, if not before...

Given that the hints are every Thursday, I would actually expect it to be the 16th.

I may not have noticed before today, but there are stakes all around the old WWF entrance area. These may have been there before, but I just noticed them today and with that slideshow of old entrances, its just kinda funny.

EDIT: It looks like those stakes have been there for a few weeks afterall when they were digging the trenches and burying pipe around July 13th they were there, but they were not there at the end of June. Crazy how you cant even tell they did anything in that area.

I believe so, I think it will be leading to the entrance plaza and entrance will be towards the right and the path may go left and connect beside dogems? Maybe the flyers will be over to the left where its completely flat? No clue! I do know this is where they buried that blue pipe, so there must be some reason....

Blue pipe is normally water or sewage.

My guess is water, so hopefully a cool centerpiece fountain of some kind? Maybe a giant copper still with some "moonshine" going through it and coming out the spout

What if its another maverick situation where almost everything is water? That might not fit, but there are so many pipes out there.

This Thursday I think we'll find out the number of inversions, I'm going with 5.

I think we will find that out as well! Maybe the height/speed as well (if 530 isn't 53mph). I am going to go out on a limb and say 6 inversions, with the 6th being an inverted tophat

As far as the water goes, I am not convinced there will be a pond etc, seems like it would have already been dug, unless they dig it around footers, no clue. They did keep a couple of pump houses??? I know those other pipes behind dodgems are a lot bigger diameter, they seem like they would be for sewage, but I dont have a clue.... I dont think the ride will be over any pool of water though, but I do hope I am wrong on this as that would be fantastic!
