I wish they'd get rid of all the stuff under the lift hill before filming a new POV.

But it beats the main official video still making the rounds on social media , where the new entrance wasn't complete and there was mud everywhere...

A little random but I just noticed the last day of Winterfest will be December 31st, you know New Year’s Eve, and the park will be open until 1am. Did they do this last year and I just missed it or is it new and maybe see some sort of New Year’s/fireworks celebration?

more like under-riding than understaffing. I would guess they just don't get enough interest in the coaster till they get more people in the park than are there the first few hours. That'd change if they convert it, of course, but right now, meh. A very easy ride to skip and never even miss it, IMHO.

Paramount Parks used to do it, it was done to cut costs because the park’s rides department was over budget. It was only done for 2006 by Paramount and they also did it to ONE side of Thunder Road.

That's cool. I think we're saying things that both be true at the same time. They had to pick some rides to run less due to budgets; I suppose the rides they pick to run less have fewer riders & fewer to complain about them opening later.

2019 passes are on sale now, surprised they haven’t announced it yet. They have gone down from last year and a gold pass is now $105 I thought they would go up because of the new coaster.

Makes sense to make them a little cheaper with a major announcement to boost early sales, also gives folks more wiggle room to go crazy on the add-ons like dining and stuff. Think I saw Canada’s Wonderland having them for $72 and admission through the rest of 2018, not the usual one visit.

yup, their financials aren't doing so great this year. Time to tweak the prices. If they want to increase "extras" sales, they could get them with lockers: they really ought to reprogram their lockers to make them one price for the day and transferable from one ride to another; for that convenience I'd pay for a locker instead trying to stuff things in pockets and inside zipper jackets.
