(Incidentally, if you fall for 2.5 seconds, you're only going to have fallen about 100 feet. It would take more than 5 seconds to fall 500 feet.)
Where did 2.5 come from? Is there a dot on the recipe? looks like 25 seconds.
If there is a dot, it would look to me like you have a roll out of the station, full stop on the launch. Then a 2.5 second launch up to 42 mph. Who knows about the "stir".
I haven't come up with a good idea for 530 yet either.
Of course all of that could be wrong.
Yes, tongue in cheek, but based on the idea that every ride was once thought to be unrealistic until it was real. Its at least theoretically possible, it's not like suggesting the 2.5 seconds as the turnover time between rides. Maybe track length of the initial drop would be more realistic, if it corkscrews or something.
And Google says you fall 1,000 ft in about 5.5 seconds, so given some liberties with what's considered height verses the fall, 2.5 seconds would "fit".
Has it been specified as 530 "feet", or is the number making people assume distance? Given prior hints involving old cars, could 530 be referring to some sort of horsepower detail tied into the theme?
Edit - why don't my quotes display properly? Nevermind, figured it out.
