When I was there on Saturday, I saw supports sitting in fenced off areas, where overflow parking would normally be. They were in 2 large piles but in separate fenced areas. Looked to be 30+ pieces sitting in one group, and I didn't get a great look at the other group.

To add to my previous post about asking employees, the person who mentioned several rides and a highly themed area was standing by the bumper cars and was dressed nicely, so I felt like it was a genuine response, and he seemed a little caught off guard with himself after he told me these things. :silent:

Okay, so I have been excitedly following the details for this upcoming new roller coaster. As a little kid I loved White Lightning and I'm excited about the references to it. I am also intrigued by the 530 reference and the possibility that that it has a speed of 53 miles per hour. While it doesn't sound super thrilling, White Lightning was an awesome ride at 53 miles per hour. Also I have been saying for some time that Carowinds is missing a good launch coaster (like a Verbolten at Busch Gardens, VA). Well, guess what Verbolten's speed is??? 53 mph!!! Could this be a multi-launch coaster with some cool features (partially indoors, drop track etc.)? Clearly, it looks to have a moonshine runner theme (again throwback to White Lightening...). And please, please let it have a height restriction around 48 inches (my thrill-seeking kiddos are short). BTW, one of my kids spotted some red shiny ride pieces from Carolina Goldrush....

So the Mack track that was originally thought to be heading to CA as seen in a recent video, https://youtu.be/nXCRroqLLJM?list=LL98Z ... O5g&t=5343, was indeed our Mack Track. Right after they display the track that matches the same project number listed on the crates that are on site at Carowinds, you will see non-spinning Mack cars that appear to have a “copper”-ish color tone to them. Might this be our trains? If so then it will not be a spinner.

Time Traveler and Blue Fire both have a 51" height requirement so this one stands a good chance of being the same. I feel your pain about the requirements as my 9 year old is currently 52.5 with shoes on and is so bummed everytime we go to the park that he cannot ride the 54" coasters

There have been some rumors flying around that SFMM's coaster may not be a Mack at all so I would not surprised if those end up being our trains. I love those colors . I never had an issue with spinning cars but for the sanity of this community, I am glad that it will (most likely) be a traditional launch.

In the video, it almost sounds as if he says these cars are going to China. Hard to hear over the VO work.

First post in a while, busy with moving apartments and having issues getting forum posts to work, but I just want to say that "Biggest announcement in Carowinds history" are some huge words to use after using them on Fury + the main entrance. The hotel will definitely be included in that.

As for 530, I think it might mean something like a 530 degree roll, that's only 10 degrees less than a full roll and a half, something that the blueprints have the ride doing a few times.

And I am not sold on it being a spinning coaster at all after the recent stir the pot teaser, Ive been around this parks amazing PR team for a while now and that is absolutely something they would do to throw you off, with it actually referencing inversions or something.

Granny’s back at it again! And I think I figured out what they meant in the rock n roller post! They said that she’s a bit country while a little bit rock n roller, rock n Roller was made by Mack, so I think we’ll be seeing some more rides other than flyers coming next year.

I disagree I think the “ largest announcement” will not include the hotel. I would say a crossroads renovation and possibly a new flat ride that is not the flyers. The coaster will likely have lots of theming.
