This topic was brought about by the ride safety laws, but I thought it would be interesting to expand on this topic.
For instance...
Do Carowinds employees get paid with North or South Carolina taxes on their checks? or both depending on what rides you are working at the time?
Which side of the park is cheaper to buy food and souvenirs?
Are the taxes on tickets cheaper at one entrance over the other?
Since you have to be different ages to work rides in the two states are their two different Carowinds employment groups to keep them seperated?
Surely there are lots of interesting points of discussion and questions that deal with the unique location of the park. Here's the place to ask them and hopefully get them answered. Some that aren't necessarily Carowinds specific, like...
If a guy has a heart attack, dies, and lands over the state line (head and arms on South Carolina, legs on North Carolina) where is he declared dead... North Carolina since he had the heart attack there, South Carolina since his heart is there, or just Carowinds in General?
