Based on the POV, it looks like the jojo roll goes straight towards the waterpark entrance though. Does the flyover show the turnaround behind the bathhouse?

^ It doesn’t (which is odd since the 3DVIP guy basically recreated the entire water park in the Yukon Striker animation, but I digress), but it looks like the clearing on the site goes behind the restroom.

Well I guess we'll find out sooner or later. I was more basing it off the fact it seems to roll towards Flying Cobras' Cobra Roll, which is at about the same angle as the water park entrance from that point.

I think the reason why the animation guy didn’t create a better sense of where the coaster is is because it would give away too much of Blue Ridge Junction. I’m kinda annoyed that the park is holding a lot of this area back from us (for now) but it be like that sometimes.

Anywho, we’ll find out sooner or later, still seems surreal that we’re getting another coaster.

I can see how it would fit in that nook between Dodgems and Boo Blasters, but part of me thinks maybe Dodgems might not be long for this world. Idk why, but it just seems like it's going to be in the way a little bit.

But, at the same time, I know if it really WAS in the way, it would be gone already at this stage of construction. Someone help me through this. lol.

I wouldn’t look too much into an animation that has so many trees and so few slide complexes in it. Also the shaping of the cobra roll on Flying Cobras in the animation is way more pleasing to the eye than in real life.

So some folks may be disappointed about the height and speed, but overall Copperhead Strike appears to be a much needed addition with good theming. Hopefully it will be a fun ride. But I suppose if Cedar Fair wanted something more intense, then they would have planned something like Maxx Force at Six Flags Great America, which appears to be an awesome ride. Perhaps for the next coaster Carowinds will increase the intensity factor. But I think Copperhead Strike still appears promising and just what is needed. Perhaps they wanted to appeal to both coaster fans and also be more of a family ride as well.

I don’t think they are holding anything back that we don’t already know. Flyers is returning but the GP doesn’t know that.

If anything happens that would surprise most of us, Boo Blasters would get a a retheme to fit the new there.

I firmly believe that Blue Ridge Junction is going to cover the area in front of BB, the Candy Corner, Funnel Cake Stand and the Dino Barn. Leaving Afterburn and Dodgems securely in the Crossroads area.

Looks like the concrete has cured on that big slab that I’m guessing will be connected to the first loop......they are removing the box supports from around the concrete

I hope they open up Dodgems to a full 360 degree viewing. Open it up so you can see Copperhead Strike from where the current seating-behind-the-rail for Dodgems is now. If that area is going to be opened up, no reason to close off the back of Dodgems.

I'm hoping for a complete tear down of dodgems. New building and cars heavily themed of course to match. It's severely needed and the entrance can be in the new plaza.

Keep in mind dodgeams has had 2 fires this year one in June and another in August according to a guest which had a photo of the fire extinguishers white stuff all over dodgems. I think dodgems should stay right where it is but get some MAJOR refurbishment over the season.
