I am glad I went early today, as we were leaving at about 5:30 or so the parking lot was basically filled beside intimidator, very similar to Wednesday night.

Here is a look at the Hurler's off season maintenance.

Not sure where they set them off at, but when they put out the article about the special food offered, they said Fury plaza would be an excellent spot to view. So I'm guessing somewhere on that side of the park.

So nobody noticed Rip Roaring Rapids being removed off the list of rides. I'm hearing it'll be closed this season. Sounds very WWF-ish to me. Hopefully it's for a refurb. So basically no water rides on the dry side of the park this season.

Nope, I hope it is just down for a major refurb. Doesn’t make sense to remove all the water rides, some people don’t like the waterpark but still like water rides.

Its only been a few years since they replaced that other cam that litterally had to be refreshed every 30 seconds or so to get a still image. The camera is fine, its the time of day that make the camera blurry because of the sun. Here is a screenshot taken yesterday morning, although I did do an auto enhance on it, it was still clear in the morning.

Yesterday, the park released the calender for 2019. I’m a bit surprised by the schedule. The waterpark has a difference in hours. A few other things have been shortened as well. I know the park goes back and edits the calender a ton. Maybe it’s just me who thinks the hours were shortened a lot.

The only thing that stuck out to me is how the park opening time seems to bounce between 9 and 10 a lot. And halfway thru August is pretty early to start closing during the week.

As someone mentioned above about the new hours I was very surprised at how they had shorten some of the ours. As I recall last year there were plenty dates were the waterpark was open until eight and in August all of those Week days have been illuminated. A bit concerning to say the least. I’m sure someone will say they were losing money but when you’re opening another coaster that very well could go over well and you’re doing all of these other Record expansions and you cutting the hours hmmm? Not sure how smart this is,they have to be better at advertising and promoting the park and I might throw in being better with the maintenance of the rides and park.
