WTF are you thinking? Do you really want a Vekoma Boomerang? I say that carowinds should put one of <a href='http://www.rcdb.com/ig593.htm?picture=29' target='_blank'>these</a> in, paint it white, and call that "White Lighning: The Revenge"

I have ridden speed and I would have to say that it is excellent. Plenty of g's, plenty of zero-g's, smooth, and FAST! something that I would love to have at PC.

Actually, since all white coasters are very ugly, I'd say paint the supports white and the track light grey.

Out of the 180 coasters I've been on, boomerangs are almost without a doubt the worst. I would rather marathon Vortex for an hour than ride a Boomerang.

Well, granted, I haven't been on Manhattan Express. But that doesn't change the fact that boomerangs are terrible. TAER IT DOWN!1

On travel channel they say that Mahatten Express is a pretty smooth ride compared the one in stratosphere.

^^yeh, I think you are about right. I have ridden the Stratosphere coaster and it wasn't all that rough. I mean heck, all it does is go around in circles a few times. BORING.......

OTOH, Manhatten Express is a very uncomfortable ride. I finally got to ride it (it was broke the first time I went there) and just wanted off that dang thing.

Don't be fooled by anything the Travel Channel says. They are "promoting" Las Vegas, so naturally they are not going to tell you everything. Watch COPS and you'll see the true side of Vegas...

Hey Katz, I think you are really over reacting. Now, maybe you are a super sensative person and can't take constructive criticism. Heck, if that were the case, no one would be posting here. Everyone that posts on this board has had a scuffle or two with another member (myself included). You shouldn't let that get to you though. I personally liked seeing another (unfamiliar) name on the board for a change. Too bad you are leaving already. I'm sure you have some opinions we all agree with and ideas we would really like. The Boomerang just isn't a popular coaster among the die-hards. But, I know plenty of people that love them to this day....and you are no less an enthusiast for still liking them.

OK, enough of that.....
