I'm going to carowinds in April for a band trip. I would like some assurance that cedar fair won't pull a six flags and open their coaster mid-season.

Carowinds tweeted last week that it would be open for Season Pass night in March. I'm no Project Engineer, but I haven't seen or heard anything that's keeping that from happening.

I didn't make this list to be all doom and gloom or to live in the past, but I just wanted to illustrate how much the park has changed in the past ten years. Nothing is permanent.

Some of those I think a lot of us saw coming, others are hard to believe. Maybe it’s because I never went to thrill zone that much prior to 2014 but I always have the hardest time picturing the race track there.

From what I understand Firehawks will not work. Some of the internals are being brought over but not much else.

New wheels and assemblies, lap bars and headrests for Fury trains! No more rattle?? I guess with RRR closed the can use that money for operation costs for upkeep elsewhere. Screamweaver got new orange paint. No more yellow.
