The rail color is almost now an ugly bronze-yellow and it's really annoying.

Vortex has had a coat of paint in the last decade or so if I recall correctly, it's not really that bad.

If I am looking at recent pictures then what you are calling brown-yellow is rust and grease. It looks like the last color the rails were painted were silver, but I thought they are red.

In memory serves me correctly Vortex has always had an issue with the paint being worn out the rails.

or maybe in coming seasons they could do a new paint job like patriot at WoF and have some sleek white stripes on the side of the track.

There’s a teaser about “county crossroads reborn” in the new restaurant. It has thunder road and it’s theming all over it. Honestly it’s very hard to see what the teaser is even about but I’m guessing crossroads is going to be next year. That whole back section of the park already looks good as a whole but now that they’re bringing two old areas back to life and maybe a third next year, it’s really gonna be great!

It could just be some decor, but one detail I noticed was the drag race Christmas tree lights. Each bulb has a year, with 2021 being the one that's lit.

Problem is, Thursday August 30 was last year, and doesnt happen again for another 10 years.

Otherwise yeah, it has the feel of a teaser.

Last fall, didnt someone say that they were re-doing the bumper cars for 2019? I noticed nothing new about them, but it could be referencing that? Can anyone list 19 things that have been done under "project alpha"?
