Stuck in traffic right now. I’m usually about 35 minutes from the park, but I’m looking an hour just to get to the park.

And that’s why I got here early. I’m towards the front of the line where they have people stopped in the park, and I see Coaster Studios and OVC lol.

So that release of people was completely unorganized other than making sure no one ran, ughh. At least I’m at the end of the last mini unshaded switchback under the top hat instead of the very back.

We survived the stampede and funnel into the temp queue at opening. The line is moving slow. I'm almost to the steps. I figure if someone gets in line now they have a 3 hour wait.

Fury just opened so I’m riding that. I rode Vortex earlier, and I can officially say I hate that ride. I wouldn’t be one bit upset if it got removed.

Still hoping to ride Copperhead again tonight.

Yeah CS only has half the capacity of Fury or Intimidator, so I don’t expect it to be a people-eater. But Blue Ridge Junction looks really good so far.

Just got my first ride in which was what I feel a very symbolic credit #325 for me. Fun and hangtime definitely the words to use here! And that last little hill before the brakes was a lot stronger than I was expecting! This will be a hugee hit for Carowinds!

Also I love how complete the area feels now, with 2017 renovations and now this. From one of the most barren areas in the park to one of the best!

Also I love the new shortcut by the bumper cars they opened up.

Been in line for almost two hours, I’ve realized we’ve been so spoiled by the B&M’s that we forgot what a real wait looks like lol

I’m in line at the temporary switch backs. Been in line an hour and not even close to halfway there. This will be my second ride of the night.

You guys, the rotisserie chicken at Blue Ridge is amazing. Like that transcends being just good park food. That is just great food period.

Sadly it looks like only one Copperhead ride for me for now.
