Just got a 6x ride on Copperhead without getting off ❤️. 3x back 3x front. Last four rides had not a soul waiting at the station when I got back.

I’m not one to cry roughness but for a brand new ride it should not be doing it as much as it is, especially in the back row.

Edit: There’s a new planter in front of Cinnabon that I almost walked into without paying attention.

I too marathoned Copperhead on yesterday and noticed that insane rattle. After clear looking and listening at slow and fast points especially coming into the station. The ride is going to be going through some serious wheel replacements. It’s looks and sounds like the wheels have deformed creating that feeling like on a shopping cart when the wheel is bent so that cart is just shimmying along. That’s whats happening on one of the trains. It’s kind of loud too.

As for HH updates, I think they were going for a brewery type vibe or atmosphere.

^ Yea no it was because of the empty gondola which put all the weight towards where you were sitting. It’s still slow as molasses compared 2015-16 and its carnival siblings.

I was at the park yesterday and I noticed that there is a old truck prop right before you cross the bridge that’s next to kiddy hawk leading to the boo blaster courtyard. It’s on the left side of the midway by the pond before you cross the bridge. I was wondering if anyone knew it’s purpose, I thought it could be theming but I wasn’t sure.

Kids mentioned it being new when we were there this weekend. I, being the most unobservant person in the world, thought it'd always been there.

Probably theming.

Hello all, My name is Jacob and I’m from Columbus Ohio, I was just wondering if possibly I could find anyone to help get my hands on a Fury 325 nano-coaster. I have only been to Carowinds once back in 2017, and I rode fury and it is my favorite roller coaster (Coaster count is 88), and my biggest regret from the trip was not getting one. I have 7 in my collection but want a fury one so bad. If anybody is interested in helping me out or even wanting one from cedar point or kings island my two home parks we can discuss it. Thanks for your attention!

Jacob, I presume you're paying the cost plus shipping? If so, send me a private message and we'll discuss.

When I was there Saturday, we noticed some people "stuck" on the ride, positioned near the height of the support arms. They weren't there 15 minutes (or so) later and we noticed other rides a short time later.

Thats interesting, I’m curious to what exactly the theming is for. I guess they’re trying to create a rustic/backwoods feel for crossroads.

I don't remember specifically, but I'm sure I rode it the year it opened. I wasn't as much an enthusiast then, so I only knew it was this "new" coaster style where you rode under the track.

What I loved riding it the first few years, I still love today. It's a smooth ride and works with its surroundings beautifully. I love that with inverts you lose sight of the track, so it's harder to be "ready" for the next element. The elements are great and I don't feel the ride ever stops delivering from start to finish.

I've ridden other inverts, but I still love this one best. It surprised me when I returned to Charlotte last year and realized how well-regarded the ride was to the coaster community at large.

Since the water park has opened for the season, I've had great luck using that entrance to catch several rides on Copperhead Strike before the crowds make their way back that far.
