Interesting interview. Here is what jumped out at me the most:

Natividad: No Problem, Can I also mention one thing I just wanted to mention that we have a preview night for are platinum season pass holders it is March 18 its from 5- 9 pm. It gives guest a chance to come out to the park either if they already purchased a platinum season pass or they can purchase it at the gate and they can enjoy a backstage or a preview to the new Nickelodeon Central and that’s for families and kids and for those looking for thrill we will also have Borg and Top Gun Open.

I'll be there for sure.

Jon, can you confirm that it was Natividad's voice in the recording? The Coaster Crew Interviews are coming way to fast and I for one do not put my trust in such a small group.

Yes, its Natividad.

She put in an appearance this weekend at the ACESoutheast's meeting in Atlanta this past weekend promoting Nick Central. She's great to work with planning events.

 :o Preview night....Top Gun and BORG open....night rides BEFORE the season officially opens....

:D :D

Plus, crowds should be pretty light. Of course I'll be very curious to check out the new Nick Central after a few rides on Top Gun and BORG.

With it being a preview of NC, you'd think that the rides there would be open as well. Hopefully we'll get to properly welcome the Flyers to the Carolinas a bit earlier than planned.

I guess I'll be at carowinds then and not on opening day. I guess I"ll have to buy my pass at the gate. Are they gonna do the thing they did last year about charging the regular pass price for platnium?

It's always been amazing to me how the PC Marketing department can put spin on anything to make it sound good. From trains that "bump", to marketing a significant group of recycled rides as the Largest Nickelodeon Area in the world, I’d like to hear them market a pile of crap and see if everyone would like to ride that. I will also point out the comment "we always take time to go out to the park" from the context discussing "to get the experience a guest would have". Yet last season they restrict when associates can enjoy the park. They've talked the talk for years, yet they're walking farther away from reality.

Wait until you meet the people from the marketing department on Saturday and see if you say that :) And yes, they do read these forums!

Its not lies. Its called hype!

^^^ :P

I'll have a camera ready for that. It would make for a funny video spot.

Personaly speaking, I am looking forward to meeting everyone from the park. Altho I tend to be a tad quite untill I know ya my Daughter will be with me and she brings me out.

As for those comments I do believe that Borg is the Carolina's first Flying Coaster.
And I do believe we will have the largest Nick Town in the World. I don't remember anything being said about All New Attractions.
