We went today at opening, rode almost every major coaster before noon. The enforcement of the “no loose articles” rule was 100% on some rides, not so much on others. For example, had to remove sunglasses on every coaster, then on my third trip on the Gliders I was asked to remove my backwards hat which I had worn the previous two times.

They’ve been going pretty hard on the no loose articles rule, and also you’re not allowed to pull down on your own lapbar? Maybe it’s always been that way and I just never noticed but last season I was able to pull down my own on Intimidator and and Hurler, but not this year

Here today after the rain and yes they’re 100% on many rides no loose article policy.

Also the theme of today is: BEES!!!!!!! Swarming like crazy at the top of intimidator and fury’s lift. As much as I want to marathon stuff I’m not sure how much I want to chance it...

That doesn’t sound good..
I rode Intimidator 6 times without leaving the station and Fury 4 and then left around 4PM after they said that Fury was closing down due to incoming weather. I’m not sure if it opened back up after I left.

They're just adding to the Hornets theme...

But yeah, I've noticed it in the past at the height of summer, and I know we're not alone because Dollywood has had the same problem at the top of Wild Eagle.

If it's like Cedar Point's policy, they allowed glasses if you had a strap.

Never had a problem with sunglasses or regular glasses, as long as I had a strap. For the first few weeks of Copperhead Strike being open, I was specifically asked to show the strap - not so much any more. The one time I forgot to put my strap on, I had to remove my glasses on Afterburn. Put the strap on after getting off.

Not touching the lap-bar is a new thing.

I wear a strap (always have) and have never been told to remove my sunglasses on any ride at any park.

I almost have to have some kind of eye wear on Fury. if not, the 95mph wind dries my contacts out by the top of the second hill. I didn't wear sunglasses when it rained one day and paid for it when a raindrop hit my eye at 95 mph. I don't care if it's nighttime, I'm wearing some kind of glasses on fury to block the wind.... with my strap of course.

We are going on Sunday the 21,
I've never been on a Sunday so I'd like suggestions.

We are doing the water park and the dry park and I'd like suggestions on which to do first to be able to get the most out of our visit. I'm thinking the dry park first then the waterpark after we complete the dry park. What are your thoughts?

We usually go on the weekdays such as a Tuesday or Thursday, does Sunday compare or will it be a little more crowded than the average weekday?

I would do copperhead at park opening and move on to the water park when it opens. Do blackbeard's tower first then the bowl/wall. Move to the speed slides and then everything as you please.
