Isnt that what PvZ and Boo Blasters are for?

That’s like riding the coaster coin ops machines at the mall when you want to ride Fury 325.

Language! I want a regular water ride as much as anyone else, but I’m just saying that that fountain is probably the best thing we got at the moment.

You can always douse yourself with a cup of water . . .

Exactly. That's why I'd love to see a flume ride come back. You get splashed... you don't get soaked... electronics are fine.... you're not dripping or squishing around the whole day. win, win, win, win, win.

PvZ is basically a lost cause, does anyone really ride it outside of the busiest of days? A rapids ride is a park staple and I’m not sure what else they’d use the space for, it certainly isn’t going to be a 200’ RMC all the kids fantasize over.

That's nobody's fault but your own. Insisting we need a ride you can sit down and cool off on, yet dismissing the existing rides you can sit down and cool off on.

... Then don't ride them? Just because you don't enjoy water rides doesn't mean other people shouldn't.

It really doesn't make sense at all for Carowinds to have NO water rides in the dry park, especially since most summer days here are 90 degrees or higher.

Yes, my family rides it multiple times when we go.

I dont think anyone has said they didnt enjoy them, what isnt enjoyable is the subsequent soggy street clothes and shoes.

What doesnt make sense is to build and maintain the infrastructure needed to operate a water ride, when you already have an existing complex with a far more robust infrastructure already in place. That RRR was built long before any waterpark existed is the primary reason it was located where it was. Water rides are great, but there is absolutely no reason for them to be located in the "dry" area of the park.

I guess we can agree to disagree.

There's plenty of reason.

I hate water soaked clothes too. That's why I appreciate "water" rides like flumes that splash you and don't soak you. (That's why I didn't ride WWF. But I appreciate why the ride was there.)

Even if YOU don't appreciate it. I'm sure the park appreciates the enthusiasm of LONG lines of guests waiting to ride one on a hot 95 degree day.

Water rides have no place in the dry park area. Plain and simple. Waste of space.

I walked by RRR and WWF for decades because I didn't want to walk around in street clothes soaked half the day.

If water rides didn’t have any business in the dry side, Knotts wouldn’t have just spent money on their rapids ride and SeaWorld wouldn’t have just added a rapids ride. And Six Flags wouldn’t be cloning the Mack water ride to replace a water ride they’re ripping out. Oh, and SDC wouldn’t be building rapids.

Because, unlike posters here, they know nothing about how to run a park or add attractions.

That is... not even close to what I was saying.

I can't help other parks making horrible decisions. Just pray carowinds dosen't.

You wanna get wet? Go to the waterpark or like someone suggested, pour a cup of water over you. It's cleaner.
