It would be so cool if the waterpark could be reopened and added on to with the latest rides of the industry but still have everything that the oringinal had. Those big body slides look awesome!

It would have been interesting to see how the PTL Resort developed had there not been the scandals and everything. They had a lot of space, and very deep pockets.

It appears they were going to build a replica of Jerusalem:

What? Maybe I'm missing something, but it looks beyond repair to me.

It would take a big chunk of money to get this waterpark back open. Not sure who remembers this (Jonathan might), but when the waterpark did reopen last in the mid-90's, the waves never worked on the wave pool. A friend of mine who did some contractural work out there said the pumps were in such bad shape they would have to be replaced. I forgot the $$ amount he was telling me but it wasn't cheap.

If they did bring this park back it would take a long time to get it fixed up and rebuilt. And just think millions of dollars. But think this....Who would people go where most? Carowinds or Heritage USA.

^I would go to heritage, I'm nto too fond of Carowinds' waterpark.

Oh, I thought the park looked ok, but you know more than I do. I am just a stupid person with an ID10T error in his brain.

^You take things really litterally/hard don't you?

I have a question for the people who have been to the park, what kind of waterslides did the park have?? One looked like a body slide, but the others I'm not sure of.

Wow, everything looks so horrible now with all the bushes growing and state of all the buildings. I wonder if anyone would do something with that area.

Those are pretty good. It's cool that they dug out some of the waterpark blueprints from one of the old offices.

It's funny how the park's offices are still intact. All the papers are lying around and everything.

Wow, why didn't they clean anything up?

The place has been sitting empty for years now.

I'm sure teenagers have been sneaking in and doing who knows what inside those places.

I was talking to someone last night that goes to the church in the old hotel and she said they are planning on imploding the tower pretty soon. I can't remember if she said when though.
