This hasn't been posted here yet to my knowledge, so all of you who subscribe to the Charlotte Observer dropped the ball on this one. From Feb. 3, 2005:

I quess that will teatch me not to read the paper.

Good scan. The area is not as re-arranged as I thought but still looks pretty good.

From that drawing it looks as if it still dead ends but we will see Saturday.

Thanks

^^ Actually, it looks to me like they have connected a path from the former Zoom Zone to an area near the South Gate or Top Gun. The path beside the TV Land cars or whatever they are now goes farther than it did before.

Yeah, I noticed that too. I think that may would increase traffic around Road Rally and Chopper Chase.

But since this area is for little kids, don't they want few entrances and exits so they can make sure kids aren't slipping away and getting lost? (or somebody comes and takes them away)

What are they going to have from Lazy Town?

That's one odd, curiuosly hard to stop starring at show.

It looks like Taxi Jam is going Lazy Town instead of Arnold?

They just put the show logos around the drawing to tell which shows are getting a ride.

If we tell you... well you know the rest. :o

I'll post comments on my pics if I can get them uploaded tomorrow...er.. today. lol

I honestly thought it would be kind of boring, but I went anyway.

It actually was very interesting because we got to see the Sea Storm (flying dutchmans revenge) without the cars on there but they were working on it and it was going around slowly (I hope it doesn't operate at that speed) lol!!!

The flyers looked like they were ready to ride, I don't know if they are still working on the motor or what.

The pavers are going to make that place so much nicer looking and probably cut down on the heat as well.

They've tried to open up the area as well so it's not quite as congested.

Scooby Doo...er.. Fairly Odd Coaster  the exit is changing!!!! (Not Top Gun) lol It's going to be easier to get off the ride now instead of that long walk around on the ramp.

That's all I can think of...oh yeah, we went in Happy Days Diner and looked around, ate lunch, asked stupid questions, etc. etc.
