It has been a frustrating afternoon. Since I am at home on my parents' new computer, I decided I would just use MS Word to make a quick photo update. Bad idea. That has got to be the worst excuse for a web editor I have ever seen in my entire life. To make matters worse, FTP for my site is down, so I had to manually upload each file one at a time. Eventually I just went into Notepad and threw some pages together. I meant for the pictures to be bigger, but oh well. Enjoy!

Well, you weren't the only one. Mr. JamminJ decided he would sleep all morning as well and miss the event as well.

I see that the Odd Coaster is still purple. The area looks a lot better now that all the "black tar" is gone. Is everything going to be ready for opening day? It seems they are cutting close.

What is the building in the background?

Nice captions Jonathan. Some very classic lines there!

It was a very nice day overall. It was so funny that CoasterBruh was the first one to ask about snapping on the flyers. Scott had told me that at EastCoaster, the first question he got was about snapping on the flyers. I can't wait to see the final product on media day. With those brick walkways, its going to look really nice over there.

I'm looking forward to the Cinnabon. Good bye funnel cake! Hello Cinnabon!

No more funnel cakes? :( What, an amusement park without Cotton Candy and Funnel Cakes. So what is a Cinnabon, I have never heard of it.

The Funnel Cake store is next to the Nick Central original gate. Anyways, I need to track one of these things down.

I mean I'll probably be giving up the funnel cakes for the Cinnabon. They have one at Concord Mills and the outlets at Gaffney. They're very very good.

I asked if we could have ERT at it at C3 :)

I hope they are cheaper than Funnel Cakes because they look smaller.

In my defense, my alarm clock did go off, many times actually. I just chose to ignore it.. :( Didn't wake up until 10:30.. figured it was too late to even try by then.

It was a pretty good day. I of course opted not to take pics as I fiqured all you with better cameras would do a better job than me.

I enjoyed the talk from Kevin Russell about his career and his job. It's nice to know we have a good engineer on board.

The new walkway by TV Land cars is going to be great. No more dead end. Yeah!!
I think that alone will help some congestion. The colors of the new area are definantly going to make kids happy, while the pavers were a great choice. It should help with the heat in the summer compared to asphalt.

Natividad told me how impressed she was with the construction progress. She said that one day you come out and see nothing but dirt and the next week all the pavers were in place. I don't know about you all but those things are a pain in the arse to put down, more or less haveing to do that entire area.

The newly expanded gift area by the main gate is a great idea and one I have asked for on many surveys. It always seemed as there was not enough space in any of the shops to do justice for sales, maybe this will change now.

Lunch was great. I never would have tried one of those wraps on my own. Remember free is a great thing.

On a side note, Coasterbruh, my daughter liked your hair.

Scott had a nice surprise in stating that those in attendance were invited back for media day. I have never been to one and will have to try to make this one.
