Dang! This all but confirms Boomerang Bay for 2006. I can't believe they had the uhh 'water coaster' on there, that was definitely my favorite idea, followed by the 'tornado' then the 'racing slides'. I also thought it was quite interesting that they pretty much used Emerald Pointe in Greensboro as a guideline.

Now let the 2007 rumors begin..

This is what I said in the coments area. And what I said is my opinion, and I think MY OPINION IS RIGHT!:

"I think Carowinds DOES NOT NEED A WATER PARK!! Carowinds SHOULD PUT IN MORE RIDES AND ROLLER COASTERS. THAT IS THE ONLY WAY TO MAKE MORE BUSINESS , IF YOU HAVE DIFFERNET NEW RIDES AND ROLLER COASTERS, THAT WOULD MAKE PEOPLE WANT TO VISIT THE PARK. Carowinds has the LOWEST NUMBER OF RIDES EVER! You should think about NEW, and DIFFERENT rides. Carowinds is 130 acres?!?!?!??! THAT IS A SAD EXUSE FOR A THEME PARK THAT IS SUPPOSE TO SERVER 2 VERY LARGE STATES! There is ALREADY a water park in NORTH CAROLINA, so THERE IS NO POINT IN HAVING ONE!!! YOU PEOPLE THAT RUN CAROWINDS MAKE REALLY BAD CHOICES, AND IT IS HURTING THE TOURISTATION OF N. and S. CAROLINA."

-Got any problems about what I said, OH WELL.

You're the kind of person who makes the rest of us look like fools. Every other park that has added a waterpark or expanded their waterpark (IE: Holiday World, Kings Island, Great America) has had massive attendance boosts as a result. And how does Carowinds have the lowest number of rides ever? They are a bit lacking in flat rides, but there are more roller coasters than almost every other park in the world. Hopefully they won't even read your comments when they see that they were typed in all caps. TERRA TERRA TERRA!!!!11

And ya'll said I was bad. First off, Carowinds is a 113 acres(get your facts right). Second, we have a great selection of rides, and our waterpark is a big draw. I just to say that was the dumbest opinion ever stated and I think you should be banned from Carowinds Connection for so much yelling. True, you are entitled to your opinion but this statement is just bull****(pardon the language) "THAT IS THE ONLY WAY TO MAKE MORE BUSINESS , IF YOU HAVE DIFFERNET NEW RIDES AND ROLLER COASTERS, THAT WOULD MAKE PEOPLE WANT TO VISIT THE PARK." Also, the Carolinas aren't big states on amusement parks and Carowinds doesn't have much competition. The closest major park is the Dollywood, Pavilion, and SFOG.

If you don't like Carowinds, then stay away from it, because I am sure they don't want some strong opinionated yankee in the park. Our waterpark needs a lot of shade trees, and a couple different slides added.

I know, I think that they should. It is that i know that I am never going to use it. Only if there is going to be a water coaster and tornado slide, like at SFNE. But isn't there ALOT of land near the parking lot, and I know there is more land around the park too. I guess they are not that smart at using there land FOR RIDES AND A HYPER COASTER. I kinda think the water park would work out, but they would have to move it to an un-populated area of the park to bring attention to that certain area. But i still want more coasters and rides. And 130 arces for a park is really sad.

At the bottom is land that I outlined:

Damn man.. you just matured by 2 years right in front of me :o *tear*.

As for "Mr. MY OPINION IS RIGHT!".. Carowinds is not SFNE.. get over it.

Part the land next to the Carolina Mall is for sell. They can't put anything on the side of the parking lot as there is an enterance that is more than likely for transfer trucks, and the land behind the Hurler will never be used. The Hyper coaster will not come soon if ever.

Thanks, Jay. :D

I was wondering if he was going to say that the HYPER can run under the bridge or something.

Can we lay the hyper rumors to rest. That rumor is so old my grandma remembers when she created it way back in 1980.

I am thankful Carowinds isn't a SF park, Top Gun and BORG would be in the parking lot.
