Scott's comments on the construction tour have been confirmed by the park map. The entire park is now non-smoking. There are a good many designated areas throughout the park for smoking.

Yeah...Teenagers are careless, and dumb. They will do what think want to, I just hope Carowinds stops them now.

I am glad to see this. I was curious after Scott talked about it on how they were going to work it, and now I see.

One thing I am surprised about is the amount of designated areas they have. This is pretty generous from the park.

I do smoke and I try like the dickens to keep away from people. I'll walk over to the side away from you before I let it blow all over you. I see no reason why us smokers have a need to smoke thruought the park now. We can just get a drink, some fries and go into the area for us.

Good going Carowinds. This should make for a better atmosphere. I only hope they can enforce it. Of course, knowing me, I'll remind those I see not to smoke outside those areas. I am just that kind of guy.

Hopefully they will advertise it so all guests are aware of the new rules and signs pointing out the areas.

Although i think they should get rid of the designated areas and make the whole park to where you can't smoke at all(nobody wants to inhale/smell the smoke you inhaled), but that's just me.

Well if you don't want to inhale the smoke, don't go into the designated smoking area. Fairly simple concept...

I don't smoke, but it's still other rights to smoke if they want to.

I really don't care if people smoke anywhere but the ques.

That's the only place it bugs me, otherwise I can see if someones smoking and will just walk around them or whatever if I'm walking around the park.

The lines is what get on my nerves.
