BORG is sporting brand new MAGNETIC brakes for 2005. The stops in the brake shed should be a lot smoother than last year. No more jerky stops!

That's great. I wonder if that was in the works when it was brought here or was it something they just decided on?

This just prooves to me once again that we have the best maintained attractions in the biz.

No The Blood Rushing to your head is when your head is lower than your entire body and you sit there for x amount of time.

It won't make the lines move any faster. It may make for a smoother stop.

That's nice to hear. I'm glad Carowinds decided to put the MBs on Borg. The stop always rattled me pretty good.

And boy were these nice today. I had braced for a rough stop...and got to the very friendly mag brakes. It felt good.

Yes the brakes were a very nice addition. The stop is amazingly smooth. Sadly, I have to say it was my first non-Intamin-Drop-Tower magnetic stop.... I am so coaster deprived. Another great addition to our beautiful park for what is shaping up to be one of the best seasons yet! .... even if Borg was back to being its mischevious self.

Wow I love those brakes. Very much appreciated addition!!!

I got 2 rides Friday night and it was like you barely braked compared to last year.

Now if they could do that on a certain jr. woody and add our bunny hop back in ;)
