Well lets see, today, TG was a walk-on, borg was ok, I didn't wait in line though cause I got on the first train on opening day for the 2nd year in a row. The flyers was a 20 min. wait (but well worth it) and for the flying dutchman, I had to wait about 5 mins.

Borg is the only ride that really seems to have bad lines. When Top Gun is operating both trains, the line normally doesn't get too long. (Sometimes just within the station)

oh, i really don't want to wait like 20 minutes for the flyers, but if it is fun..... :D

and also, was the park packed or was it really packed today?? because i want to know if it is going to be like tomarro. plus, do you think there are going to be less people tomarro on sunday??

well it was pretty empty this morning. The line for borg was only to the bottom of the stairs even 15 mins after the park opened.

Justin, historically Carowinds has always been slower on Sundays than Saturdays. And being in the bible belt, Sunday morning should be very slow seeing that many people will be in church.

They are saying the weather should be a bit warmer Sunday too (calling for 68º Sunday).

Just don't make a big issue of it. Go and have fun. The crowds should be very tolerable. The waits should be minimal. Then come back and and give us a brief trip report on your visit.

Oh but you will.

After your first run, good luck getting away regardless of the line.

We are coming down next weekend from Ohio. Would Friday or Saturday be the better day to go? Saturday has the longer hours but Friday is a weekday. The other day we are going to Biltmore in Ashville. Thanks for any help you can give.

^Go on Friday, BORG's line might be long but everything else will probably be less than 30 mins.

^ I'm not so sure about that. I went on Good Friday last year and it was the worst lines I saw all year. The line for Vortex was up to an hour by noon.

CMS has the day off, so the park won't be empty...

Dude's. Sunday between 10-1pm is a walk on for the Borg. It will prolly' be like that too on good friday. But one thing is for sure..... The nick central WILL HAVE THE LONGEST LINES OF ANY OTHER RIDE IN THE PARK, even on slow days. Trust me! I can't wait until the summer, when the lines extend out of the regular line itself. But this means that the Borg should have smaller lines. Plus!! The Borg also got something new too!! They have shading over the line that begins where the car brakes and all the way to where you get into the station. Look at some pics of last years Borg, and go on the sky wheel and look at the Borg now. I didn't notice that when i was in line. :)

I meant on a normal friday, I went on a friday last year and Top Gun's wait was only 10 mins, 20 mins tops. (and that was for the front row), and near the end of the day vortex was a walk on.)
