The flyers are only going to remain at Carowinds through the end of 2005 then they will be moved to Dollywood.

The recent acquisition of a classic ride by Paramount Carowinds themepark near Charlotte, North Carolina will be short lived. Mr. Richard Burgman, Director for ride management at Carowinds, indicated that a deal has be struck with Dollywood, a Tenneesee based themepark, to aquire the ride at the end of the 2005 season. The "flyers", as they are known by enthusiasts, were recently moved from Paramount's Kings Island themepark near Cincinati Ohio to Carowinds late last year. "Our patrons will be able to enjoy the ride throughout the 2005 season. They will be dissassembled and transported to Dollywood in the fall." Mr. Burgman stated.
