Hi all,

I was at Dollywood Saturday and Sunday for Grand Opening Weekend.

I however missed out on getting a 20 year Season Pass!!! :(

I'm in the process of uploading all my pics, but here's most of them if you want to check out the new coaster and new flats.

I love the disk-o!!!

Great pics. I like the new fair rides, but I will miss the Tennesse Twister (the tilt-a-whirl) and the scrambler. Only rode the log flume once, and didn't care for it, even though I got drenched!

Aw, I miss going to Dollywood. When I lived in Knoxville I had a season pass every year.

Nice pics :D

The Scrambler is still there. It got a new bright orange paint job. :)

Of course, the flume and the other old flats will be missed. I wish they would have kept the Tilt-a-Whirl though...

Great Pics bgwfreak. I can't wait to ride the Dizzy Disk!

Oops. My mistake. For some reason I thought the scrambler was gone! And Justin, Dollywood is a great amusement park in the Smokie Mountains in Pigeon Forge, TN. You should visit it this summer. DW'S Splash Country is awesome too!

In case anyone is interested, the Tennessean has a great article on the 20th Anniversary of the park today. It has some interesting facts about the park and other information.

Thanks for the comments everyone :)

And for those that looked at them when I first posted, look at the 2nd link again. I've uploaded all of them now.

Also, I've got video of the Screamin Swing that's on the strip in Pigeon Forge. Does anyone know a site where I can upload it? Webshots doesn't allow video/mpgs. That thing is WAYYYYYYYYY too much fun! Yay for airpowered rides. lol

Yep, I like to see her everytime I'm up there, so this time I got a picture with her.

She made me wear the hat.

She's a really nice lady though.

They did NOT take out the scrambler. It's still there. Although it was not working either day for some reason.

The log flume got you wetter than Dare Devil Falls. It will be missed.

I was never impressed with Daredevil Falls - I would much rather have the Flooded Mine again.
