Here is a brief trip report from my crew:
-Borg was running very well, had one of the best rides ever. Are both trains now silent on the lift hill? (It was my neighbor's first time on Borg; he liked it OK I think)
-Top Gun's yellow train was LOUD on the lift hill. Much louder than usual. What's the deal with that? Ride was great though.
-Some guy with a professional looking camera was going around filming the crowd. He had an escort in a Paramount uniform so I wondered what he was filming for.
-Some other guy had a not-so-professional camera and filmed the whole ride of Fairly Odd Coaster. We were waiting by Arnold's Taxi Chase and saw him holding his camera high in the air throughout the ride. Can you do that?

It was a bit crowded and the lines were a bit long for me, but the weather was great. We had a very pleasant day.

I was planning to go yesterday, but my brother and dad were at a tractor show showing over their 1947 John Deere Model A tractor plus I had a project and a ton of homework. Can't wait for next weekend. Only 16 more days of school for us here in Union County!

Good report, coastermom!

I was there yesterday as well.

Borg was running very well, ill agree! It was amazing experience.

Top Gun was really good today, I felt a lot more G's than normal, especially during the loop.

What really surprised me was the way Hurler and Thunder Road were running. They didnt hurt at all and I recieved excellent air time on both! Last weekend they really hurt, but I was pleasantly surprised!

The park was pretty busy yesterday, but I was there from 10-3 and never waited more than 15 minutes for all the coasters. Great times!

I was there on Sunday from about 9:45 until 12:30. I only rode Top Gun (3 times) and the Flyers.

I rode Top Gun once in the front, once in the back and headed to Nick Central, getting in line a few minutes before the guard let us back there. There were quite a few ACEers / park regulars that had the same idea, so we had a group of 9 that rode the ride several times. We'd let people in front of us so we could get on as a group.

Much like the opening day Whootah / Carowinds Connection "takeovers" where we got the entire group on the ride, it was wild. I'm surprised we never had any tubs banging each other at the end of the ride, especially with as sideways as mine got a few times. :o I got a few really good stalls right in front of the queue line that I'm sure had some wondering "do I really want to ride this thing?".

The group wandered off in different directions as the line started to get a little long, and I headed by Top Gun for another ride as I left, getting my favorite back right seat on the red train. TG actually felt a bit sluggish to me on all my rides, which isn't too unusual considering the cooler weather.

Too bad I missed out on BORG, it really does have it's days. Last season I ran into Jonathan on a Sunday morning and we headed to BORG. Our first ride was "ok", but the next one was an incredible ride. Jonathan said it felt much faster to him on that second ride and I definitely agreed - that thing was flat-out intense when running fast like it did that day - still probably my best ride on it. I'd ride BORG a lot more often if it always ran like that.

Nope, I wasn't wearing a white shirt with coasters on it.
(sounds like a cool shirt, though)
