After a small set back at SFA, jonathan you know lol lol, I think my site will have a minor delay. Anyway im happy to let you guys know that my video has been chosen in the final run of the theme park review video contest and im pretty darn excited! Neat video....it was nice seeing the *front row* perspective of Top Gun since I have never ridden in the front row...the closet that I got was last weekend in the 2nd row.

hey how did u get that camera on the ride i should have caught you with that. lol actually its pretty good but you forgot about the parks #1 attraction and thats me gosh if i was in it you would have won just like that.

Besides when I was getting off the ride the mob of people and the flashing lights of the camera and your bodyguard (eunice) told me you werent doing interviews w/o a pre-interview and a list of your own questions for me to ask you. So I said f*ck it! and went back to filming.

I'm guessing that was done on the SP preview night as I spotted Mr. Director down below filming while I was on the ride, and even chatted with him for a bit after I got off. It's not often you have such brushes with greatness B)

It was just a *bit* cold that night, and Top Gun doesn't like the cold early in the season, so it may well have been running a bit slow. It really seems to like the hot summer days and nights best. Well, almost best. Oddly enough, the coaster positively loves the cold October nights during Scarowinds and really shines then.

Oh yeah, about the video - it was great! Perfect choice of background music since it IS Top Gun. I think that's the first time I've seen a video of an empty ride before, and it was actually pretty effective as it keeps your attention solely on the ride and not what the people are doing on the ride. It really seemed to capture how Top Gun is an impressive coaster visually the way it flys over and around (and under!) the walkways. I think if I hadn't already ridden it before, it'd definitely make me want to ride.
