I don't really kno if any of you care or not buttt..
I totally accomplished my fear of TOP GUN (my first "Real" rollercoaster ever ridden) on March 25, 2004!
ive been going there since 96 (when i moved down here)
I would look at carowinds from the parking lot EVERY year and say "MOMMY, THEM PEOPLE ARE CRAZYY! NUTS! INSANCE! ILL NEVER DO THAT!"
ive been there 2384092384times b4 and still always wondered wut it would be like to ride it...
Ive ridden Scooby Doo tons of times b4...
....but then when I went back....I got scared of it again...
kinda like the log ride..(which i NOW HATE THE THEMEING to it!)..sometimes i wanna do it, sometimes in scared...
im weird!
So instead of doing that kiddie rollercoaster I decided to do CYCLONE...
...a nice short ride but, in my opinion, Im surprised it didn't leave any bruises on me!) i RODE that twice, then got bored of it...
so i continued my rollercoaster mission and went on Richocet...
....which I wish I hadn't even looked at...
It killed my sides. it wuz a nice ride but the dips and turns were too sudden for me..
ill get on as long as there is sum1 lighter than me next to me...not my friend :blink:
THENNN we went on a few other rides.....like the SCREAM WEAVER which wuz AWESOME BUT GET THIS:
I DIDN'T KNO THERE WEREN'T SEAT BELTS!
thats when i freaked out but the ride wuz starting so im like HOLD ON!
and it wuz pretty good..
except when i wuz standing in line, sum stupid guys on the ride were like
"HEY GURL, WANNA SIT ON MY LAP..."
"HE WANTS TO RIDE WITH YOU..."
and stuff like that....gah.....lets not go to the park to HIT on people...
We were gonna get on the vortex next but thoes guys that wuz hitting on me were practically following us around the park and went on VORTEX so my and I were like...NAHH...maybe later...
My friend wuz with me and my fam (Little sister, bro, mommy and daddy) they really hate coasters but i got my dad and bro on cylcone...my dad said that was enuff coaster to last him a few decades....
We stood looking at TOP GUN go around about 5 times, when everyone started bothering me (i get annoyed easily when i dont wanna do something and everyone pressuring me) IM LIKE NO im NOT doing it...NO NO NO...
..so instead we went to Spongebob (WHICH WUZ GREAT!!!)
i LOVE sponge bob and laugh at it all the time...even tho its dumb...=)
i promised my friend i get on TOPGUN after sponge bob...
soooo We got in line of top gun, I called my buddy and told him i wuz about to get on (cuz he would have made me feel more calmer), but he didn't answer.
Acutally, I wasn't as nervous as I thought I would be.
I LOVED IT! i rode it 5 times
It was a nice day too! I just got off, went back in line and got ON!
(I LOVE THOES DAYS!)
I had one of thoes days at KINGS DOMINON, too)
We didn't have time to do many coasters cuz it wuz spring break and the place opened at 10 and closted at 6 and we got there at 12.
Next time I go, I wanna ride every single rollercoaster there....
HURLER, VORTEX, BORG, THUNDERRODE (B and F) and the GOLD RUSHER, CYCLONE, and of course, TOP GUN!
Now i can OFFICALLY say I LOVE ROLLER COASTErs and in my life time, i wanna ride TOP THRILL DRAGSTER and/or MILLNEUIM (sp?) FORCE, CEDAR POINT!
CAROWINDS, I LOVE YA AND IM COMING BACK IN JUNE! look for meh :ph34r:
