I was wondering when Carowinds plans to get another coaster. It was said that Paramonts purchased a few B&M hypercoaster. One was to go to Kings Island. I think that would be a great addition to the park. But, somethings telling me that all the other parks will get new coaster pretty soon, and Carowinds will have to wait 5 or 6 year again. LIke the long wait between Top Gun, and the Vekoma Flyer.(1999-2004).

It wouldn't bother me if we didn't see a new coaster for Four or Five Years. I'd wrather see Flat Rides and General Park Improvements anyway. (Though not sure how that would do money-wise)

If anything, the next time they add a coaster, they should remove one as well...

forget b&m hyper coasters they should get a intamin STRATA coaster like top thrill dragster!!! that would be so cool!(yet i would be terrified)

Hey!! why not make it 4 miles long with 13 inversions and 562ft drop that goes thru the hull of the riverboat!!! you would only have to get rid of HALF OF THE PARK!! do you guys realize that the bigger the coaster the more land it occupies. Ever wonder why PC never got any of those mega coasters or something traditionally over 150 ft............thats why. Like Duke said.........Flats and improvements would be the most feasible park move inorder to enhance the overall theme park improvment. Personally i would love to see more carnival style rides in the county fair section and some lights strung up around the area like the dinosaur section at animal kingdom. Wouldnt mind seeing an overhaul in animation station.........something like and Island of adventure way (get rid of the 1D and bring on the 3D ) and just something, ANYTHING, in thrillzone

I'll never understand why people want the bigger and fastest coasters, etc. I could care less if we get a giga or a strata. I'd be happy with just a simple hypercoaster like SROS. Bigger isn't always better....

You guys are exagerating my ideas for a large coaster, I would bew extremely happy with something like Superman at Six Flags Darien Lake. 250 feet tall and 3000 feet long.

If you are an enthusiast as I am you should enjoy the coasters we have. With the exception of Gold Rusher Carowinds has a great selection. They may not be as long as other parks but they are fun.

I would think that over the next 2 seasons we will see alot of updates in the park, kind of like a face lift. I do think we will get the Boomerang Bay for the 2005 season and possibly a flat ride. Other than that I would not hold my breath on a new coaster for a couple years.

Now don't quote me but I do remember reading somewhere that for the 2005 season it was being dubbed "A Titanic Year". What that means who knows.
