Since they won't let riders get in line for BORG with bags, they must be stored on lockers beside the sky tower. I takes forever because you have to wait for the one single person working at the lockers to take your bag, find an empty locker, hand you the claim ticket, take the lock out of the locker, put in your bag, install the lock on the locker, then lock it. It takes too long. My party had to wait for me before we got in line and it was rather annoying for the process to go so slow. Couldn't they have more people working the lockers or some other system for bag storage? <_<

I think they are working on a new faster system but you won't see anything till next year.

Hopefully the same will be done with TG.

No more loose articles on TG, They must be stored in lockers and if you have flip flops you must sit on them or put them in a locker.

It would be a nice way to make the park extra money of course charge for the lockers.

They already over-charge for lockers, I mean 3 dollars for what, two hours just because you can't have them on BORG? Cedar Point only charges a dollar for all day. Personally, I think they are too strict on the BORG bag rule as of opening day. I stop riding BORG because I got tried of taking my camera bag off of the belt, and leaving it in the station. It ain't going anywhere, it is attached to my belt, so it ain't loose article.

The lockers beside Borg are indeed free. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that near the beginning of the year. Much better than opening day 2004, when I had to leave my bag lying in the grass in a big pile near the entrance.

Yea, i was happy to see that the lockers were free this year. I thought it was ridiculous for them to say you HAD to get a locker and then HAD to pay for it, then had baskets that you could put smaller stuff in and pick up after the ride.

Well it would be around your belt but the Lap bar wouldn't go all the way down and while on the ride you would crush you camera and then try to sue the park because they let you ride with your camera on your belt.

They don't charge for the BORG lockers which is great but I just
wondered how they could speed up the process by having more
than one person there to install the locks. The BORG is always
busy. I just wondered why they didn't have cubbies to stow your
stuff in like on all the other rides. So is Top Gun going to go to the
locker system as well?

I also hate the whole locker thing.

Why is it that a little fanny pack can't be taken up to the station when it clearly fits in those big plastic boxes they have?

Last week I didn't even take the bag, I just wore shorts with velcro pockets and put my car key there (and worried about it falling out still) lol. :o

^^ Kevin Russel told us at the construction tour that the bag policy for Borg was done to improve capacity, and has worked well so far. Thanks to Vekoma's brilliant trains and loading system, it is nearly impossible to cross over people to set things down on the other side of the platform. Fortunately, this is only an issue with Borg, so the policy and lockers will not be making their way to other rides.
