A Sling Shot. I think this would make a nice addition into the thrilless zone. I rode my first one ever Wednesday at PKI and loved it. I liked it much better than the sky coaster. After riding, I bought the video to watch, but there's no audio to it. I think a little microphone would really add to the video as you watch the crazy expressions you make while being lauched 95mph to a height of 265 feet.

Plus it wouldn't be an upcharge for either of those.

Although if we got a screamin swing I'd pay for that. I love the one at Pigeon Forge!!!

It's funny you should mention that. Carowinds considered putting a Sling Shot in Thrill Zone (then Wayne's World) 4 seasons ago. The deal fell through obviously. I'd love to see one there, as well as a Skyscraper.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see a giant flat ride. I was just thinking about something a little more simple to compliment the sky coaster.

Forgot to mention that the charge for the slingshot was reduced from $15 to $10. Well worth it!

I think you would see a lot more people riding this one than you do the skycoaster. Heck, I wouldn't care if they just replaced the skycoaster with a sling shot. To me they're just more fun to ride.

If i had to choose between the sling shot and skycoaster thing we currently have, i'd definetly choose slingshot...heck, i'd even try it once.
