Hey everyone,

I'm thinking of going down to Oakboro tomorrow and checking out the rides.

Do they ever have any decent rides? Do they ever have a coaster?

It's been years since I went.

Never been to it before (actually I wasn't even aware of it), but the midway is done by Smokey Mountain Amusements.

^ Are those confirmed for Oakboro, or just the standard set of rides they use?

Steeple Chase must be a kids ride, not the horse "coaster" like they have in England right?

That's the list of rides from the Oakboro website; no idea how accurate it is, though. No idea what Steeple Chase is, but from what I've seen of Smokey Mountain Amusements in the past, probably nothing spectacular.

I ended up not going, but I will definetly have to check it out next July 4.

I'm sort of broke this paycheck. lol Mortgages ain't cheap. But ye olde Bug will be paid off soon!
