I happened to be snooping around on another coaster site when I came across this: http://www.deadwoodnc.com/

Odd looking little place, but it says they have added (or are adding) some sort of coaster and some flat rides. Anyone out east know any more about this place?

Wow I've never heard of this place.

I expect the coaster will be a little kiddie coaster, but we can always hope for that dive machine coaster. lol

Sounds interesting for sure. I'm with bgwfreak expecting a kiddie coaster, but being the optimist I am, I will hold out a smidgen of hope that it is an adult coaster of sorts. Heck, a Galaxie or a Jet Star would be nice!

I emailed the park asking for information on the coaster and this is the response I got today:

Ken, thanks for your interest. The coaster and tubs of fun are considered
Kiddie Rides, but are capable of seating adults. The other rides are all
geared for younger children. I had diluded myself into thinking that these
would be ready by the end of the summer but due to a large increase in the
number of private parties that we have done during the week, we haven't had
time to work on them. I think realistically that it will probably be next
summer before we are ready with the majority of the rides. The coaster
will probably take longer and is a steel coaster. I have two children ages
4 and 6, and am trying to gear more things for that age group since we
can't possibly afford rides that would interest teenagers at this point.
Thanks, Derek Price
