OK, you're probably wondering what the heck is Swampfox doing? Is he out of his mind? Well, sometimes I feel that way...but no, I am a pretty sane person.
I got to thinking though. Usually when any park makes an announcement early in the season (July) it is for one reason. My theory is that they do this because the new attraction is going to be big, and the park needs to start construction early in order to have it ready for the opening day of the next season. It's hard to start construction early without people wondering what is going on. Plus, it builds hype early on and will spur season pass sales for 2006. Top Gun construction started within days after the press announcement in July 1998. Believe me, I wasted no time getting my 1999 season pass.
Could we be in for another big treat from the folks at Paramount? Maybe we will know on
