You know I wonder why no company has tried to bring back the shuttle coaster concept. They're cheap, they take up very little space, they were great for parks.

It'd be kind of neat if they had a new version with a huge loop and like it had a trick track you'd go through the track inside forward, and ouside the track backwards. lol that'd be cool.

I guess we'll just have to keep Wicked Twister until that happens. lol

I wish Carowinds would buy one of those imulse coasters. They're so much fun.

Third, it would be AWESOME  to have HW's Voyage at Carowinds... idk but this year i've reallly lost alot of respect for TR, it doesn't deliver half the punch it used to and is becoming really rough... i could care less if it were removed, it takes up so much space!!!

Ride in the middle row of a car, thats smoother than the hurler. The middle row of the 2nd car on the forewards side has a post right in the middle of its que. Most people don't even realize that that que is there, so you can get many re-rides in that row, even when theres a line for all the other rows. I got 6 rides in that row, and there was a 10 min. wait for forewards. Eventually peeps got wise tho...

As far as speculation goes, I think we will see Frenzoid gone and being replaced by a giant frisbee, and the re-themeing of County Fair. Some have speculated about an RFD re-vamp...I could see that too, but there just isn't a whole lot of meat to the area. I mean, you have the games, the arcade, White Water Falls, Wings, and Putt Putt. I think RFD will get re-themed when there is a waterpark expansion.

Also, I could see another path being put in between where Frenzoid and the Dodgems are into RFD. That part of County Fair is a dead end, and if they want to put anything over there they need the flow of traffic.

2006: We lose the FX theater for Delerium!

That would be quite dreadful. Considering that's a big thing PC has over SFOG. By the time the FX theater is dated Paramount should consider some other 3D/film attraction. ie: Darkcastle, Spiderman, Shrek 4D, etc. to at least stay with the times. But that's just my opinion. :rolleyes: I know those sort of rides have mixed reactions from the general public.

I mostly see Boomerang Bay coming next year because of all the rumors, but then again they do say that every year at some point.

Well right now the action FX theater is the big thing carowinds has over SFoG however, next year SFoG is gonna have someing much bigger built over it that will overshadow the FX theater (and the tallest coaster at carowinds) by a long shot. So its gonna take more than an FX theater to keep SFoG and Carowinds in the same department of thrills Because it seems like the coasters and drop towers collection that SFoG has are comparable, if not better, than those of carowinds.

I think that the SFOG hyper is the best thing thats ever happened to both SFOG and PC fanboys. I can't wait to see what BIG thing PC gets in '06/'07. I'd put money on it having a launch.

BTW, theres so much talk about the SFOG coaster, why not the PKD coaster?
