Wow, the video they made for it was awesome. I can't figure out where they are going to put the ice skating rink.

^My guess of where the ice rink will be is the open area in the Paramount Plaza where the big "Paramount" mountain logo is inscribed in the cement, in front of the stage. Just a guess.

The rink will be in Nickmas. The area you described was Santa Land.

Just have to figure out where in Nick Central it will go cause it will be a huge rink.

The Press Release says one of the largest rinks in the southeast so it's going to be huge.

I believe they said the skate rink would be around 2500 sq. ft. That's the size of a 2 story house! I can't imagine where they have that kind of room...

Anyways, I'm perfectly happy paying for it. At only 19.99 for 3 days in advance I'm sure it will be worth it. Of course I will have to get the tickects that include the feast.

According to the video it showed the rink surrounded by trees. I only know of one area that it might go and it would be in front of or around Air Time. Heck, maybe they will just freeze that pond by Frenzoid.

That web site and the video are the best things I've seen from them as far as advertizing goes. Kind of makes you want Winter to get here fast.

I don't care about the rides as much as some because I think the roar of those wheels might actually take away from the event. Now, they can run Danny all night long, and the other flats, and I'll be there. Ok, so I wont complain if I get to ride a coaster in the cold.

c'mon guys you know they are using the wave pool for the skating ring, but on second thought that areas is gonna be construction off since they will be building the dream water slide i submitted today by then. But as foreseer said im sure it will be the large space infront rocket power or heck they may even freeze the 2 water areas by BORG and even add a ramp to both sides to create a "santas rebel ramp" so the thrill seekers can jump from one skating pond to the other!

My guess is Ice Staking will be on one of the Log Flume ponds, or part of the Sternwheeler river. Look of the image, borg is the background. Plus the angle makes sense.

This looks like the Frenzoid pond due to the people down in front, surely they will not block the BORG walkway with a show.

According to that photo it puts in the plaza area but the press release says Nickmas.

Ok, so I am in my sleepless mode now for 2 weeks. Only 2 hours a night if that. So, with this extra time on my hands I thought I’d see how close I am on where things will be. Yes, I like to be surprised but hey, my minds going 100mph on other things so why not throw this in the mix?

Santa’s Tinsel Town: Obviously the Sky Tower as a Christmas Tree. Santa Claus will be on the stage by CBS café. 65 foot walk thru tree, as you come over the bridge. Christmas Parade, follow the Nick parade lines.

Carolina Christmas: Shade Arbor, we all know where that is. Gazebo, I think on top of the water feature by Vortex, just because they say “in the middle”. Victorian garden, all the trees in the Vortex area. Toy Factory musical, duh, they even say so.

Nickmas: Holiday Tree Lot, in Nick Central you think? Ice Rink, by Air Time. Even ole Dora will have her Christmas outfits on.

Rivertown: Ok, here I am stumped. I’m still trying to figure out the whole water and lights thing. With the limited water spots we have left I just don’t see it, except for in front of Frenzy. Hey, maybe they are tearing down WWF so they can use that water area?

You also have to think about the ponds at the entrance to Nick Central. That also in RFD so that would be used. It could ba a rather small fountain display but i like the idea of it being in the Frenzoid pond.
