Hey guys Its a song they play in carolina boardwalk and I have been trying to know the title for the longest! Some of the lyrics are

Cause you build me up......

Thats all I remember does that ring a bell with anyone?

Also its another song I think the title is called "sweet carolina girl" or sweet carolina sun or shores" something like that.

Im asking because im finishing up my myrtle beach DVD and I want either one of those songs for the ending credits!

after wrecking my brain all day I found out who it was, the temptations "why do you build me up, buttercup"!

And the other one was "Carolina girl" by the chairman of the board!

Actually it isn't the Tempatations. It find it really funny how music sharers have a tendency to lump anything that sounds "Motown" together and label it Temptations. They do the same thing with punk covers; giving Me First and the Gimme Gimmes credit for all of them.

The song is actually by the Foundations. The had another hit with "Baby, Now that I found you"

I remember the "Buttercup" song well. I didn't know they played that in the Carolina Boardwalk area. I'll have to listen for it next time I go.
