Two trains on the California Screamin' ride at Disney California Adventure bumped into each on Friday evening, leaving at least 60 riders with minor injuries.

The accident occurred just before 6:45 p.m. as one of the trains was coming was ending its ride and hit a second train that was loading passengers, said Michael Simpson, dispatcher for Metronet, which covers the Anaheim Fire Department.

Most of the injured complained of neck and back pain and some were being sent to local hospitals. Simpson said initial reports indicated that there were no serious injuries.

Disney must be in a bad luck streak with all these accidents. :ph34r:

A girl died today at Typhoon Lagoon, the cause of death is still unknown.. she was sitting on a 'fake island' alone and lifeguards had asked her if she was alright, she wanted to be left alone. She then stood up, and collapsed.. They attempted CPR, but she wasn't breathing and was presumed dead.. This is the third of a string of recent accidents at Disney World, and the fourth at Disney parks..

On July 12, another person nearly died from cardiac arrest after riding Tower of Terror. A CAT Scan showed she was bleeding in the brain, she is still in critical condition at the hospital..

All of these people seemed to not have had any prior medical conditions

^ disney is having a lot of problems with publicized accidents lately..

I guess people who wouldn't normally be able to ride the more 'thrill' like rides at disney, either aren't ready (mission space case) or do it because they figure nothing will happen at disney..
The bad thing is that all of these (except California Adventure train wreck) have not been Disney's fault, but they still get bad publicity from it anyways...
