When i went today, it was working fine, so i agree with all the above people. it probably just had maintance issues. But i really hope they don't close it, it's the best ride to cool off one (or at least the bridge is ).

As for RRR, I never liked that ride in the first place. you don't get too wet, and it's definetly not worth the three hour wait.

My biggest complaint about Rip Roarin' Rapids is the antiquated loading system. It really hurts the capacity of that ride and deters a lot of would be riders.

I like having a raft ride in the park. They can be lots of fun regardless of whether you get wet (not everyone wants to get soaking drenched).

I would like to see Carowinds go to the turntable style loading platform like Kings Island has. As many as 6 or more rafts can be loaded at once and it really cuts down on the wait time.

I checked yesterday and WWF was running with people riding it though when walking around Waterworks I heard some funny sounds coming from the lift.
