I'm pretty sure the sign was damaged in a storm or some other such natural freak accident, and they are taking their time refurbing it.

And on the subject of Thunder Road, we actually have one in Charlotte now. lol


Thunder Rd is located across the street from Concord Mills now where they are building (another) strip mall. Yay.
