I would like to know why there is all this negativity toward the park? People aren't satisfied that LAST YEAR we got a FLYING COASTER with quite extensive themeing - something you won't find at any Six Flags park (with the exception of the new Kingda Ka section at SFGAdv). Obviously Carowinds isn't going to put in some huge a** coaster every f***ing year - quit your b****ing! Sorry for all the explicitives...just some people are ungreatful.

considering posts like this have been frequent in this forum, i'm going to offer my own rebuttle... [here goes my neck ]

everyone disagrees with the park somewhere.... none of us think that it is perfect... but b/c its our home park, we defend it as an absolute... kind of like the panthers... even if its bad, having a bad season, or needs improvement! i think that drop zone isn't that great.. but im happy to have it, b/c its charlottes! and i appreciate the park a lot, which is why i voice my disagreements about it, b/c i want it to become better in anyway it can... true, i haven't been to that many other parks... but i can see the carolina's park can improve, and want to see it do that ! ... sorry if you thought i was 'hatin' on the park, but i was just looking for a way to improve it!! ...

Be glad you people have Carowinds. I have Camden park...and that is all...in the ENTIRE state. I have to travel 4+ hours to PCar.

And if you really want to appreciate it, go to Kentucky Kingdom, Magic Mountain, or plenty other parks that suck. I dare you. Oh, wait. Nevermind.

I hope carowinds doesnt get one! While the coaster looks fun I would rather have a different ride at carowinds so I would be more prone to visit the other parks. I would be alot less interested in visiting the parks if all had the exact same things, kinda like going across town to go to their walmart when you have one right across the street!

It looks like Paramount is getting to be unoriginal, and copycatting one ride to all of their parks. Could the end of Paramount Parks be near...I think so.

If the rumors are true of the Boardwalk Stage being removed then I would expect Triple Play to be relocated from PGA. I am doubting this one but it wouldn't surprise me. I prefer to see a waterpark/county fair makeover.

Oh, ok. Who was right about what was coming in 2005? I believe I was the one who notice little things, thank you. Sadly, I haven't seen much more than ONE theming element missing from the waterpark. Atleast I always have my camera with me before I open mouth about something different. So in otherwords, Kiss my white A double S. <_<
