before the car, there was the wheel....
before there were moderated forums, there was rec.roller-coaster. (started in 1994)

It's kinda lost it's luster now but it can still be a good source of info. Plus, it is unmoderated which still appeals to some people (not particularly me). Many of their best posters have moved on, died or post on the newer forums.

All of your guys are completely wrong! Carowinds is building a 1000 ft. B&M mili-coaster! The coaster will launch to 200 mph in 2.1 seconds, go up a massive top hat and then fly through a series of bunny hills to my house, where it will do a insanely awesome turnaround! Carowinds will also be devoting 1/2 of the parking lot to this new coaster and will take a hint from six flags and install it sans theming!

The B&M surveyors were here yesterday and left a little something... B)

I think it's coming over my house as well. They were out yesterday and left tons of markers though i don't have a pic.

Looks like this will be Carowinds signature attraction.

There has been no official announcement on the 2006 attraction.

I hope that they don't build another IJST. I liked the PKI one ok, but I don't want one here or at PKD.

They'd do better building one at PGA. That park needs a coaster bad.

I still say I want the MTV launch coaster. Maybe PKD will get that Top Gun Stealth thing.
