Where is the Scarowinds info. Is something bigger or different being planned this year. No where on the site is Scarowinds referenced for this year, even though Winter Fest tickets and info is already out.

Anyone have any scoops or details on Scarowinds and if the park will be doing kid's activities during the daytime like last year?

There's stuff about it up at the park. I'd expect an official announcement to the public pretty soon. I'll try to get the dates and stuff when I go back over this week.

Yeah, I guess it seems Scarowinds has kinda been put aside a bit with the Winterfest event on the horizon. Anyways, the Scarowinds dates are that it will begin Friday, September 30 and run through Monday October 31. Other than that final weekend, Scarowinds will be both Friday and Saturday nights running from 7pm to mid-night. Prices are still to be determined but we should see something about that soon.

I don't think they "put aside" Scarowinds or even take it less serious but with something totally new I'm sure they just wanted to get out the word as soon as possible before Families started making Holiday plans.

Yeah, I just love how the park's not even advertising for Scarowinds on the web site but that Winterfest is already up.

Bigger & better thing always come first or atleast i hope it's bigger & better than Scarowinds.

Thanks. Now... I must wait to see what is in store for the kids during the day this year. Last year was pretty fun, but since the Nick Toons have taken over I am expecting the kid's events to be kicked up a notch.

^ I heard the park speaker announcing in its common loop of announcements the same kids fest during the day, with nick theming.. dont' know much, but i am going to day, and will see if they play the same advertisement....

Scarowinds signs are in the park, and info is on the website...

The park announced about 10 times today (while i was at flyers, of course), that there was going to be the second annual Kids Nick daytime festival (halloween stuff) from 12-4 every Saturday/Sunday in October...

guess flyers will be more packed then usual,

Iam hoping that this years scarowinds is better than last years idk i mean it didnt draw me in as much last year.There was only one really scary maze and that was the haunted house one out in the kids section.The headless horseman one sucked i mean theyhad the frinking headless horseman out of the maze thats screwed up.Hopefully it will be better and not worse.
