OK, so I have bought the passes under the special they have running now.

I plan to visit the parks this weekend. I know I will receive free parking for the remainder of this year and next, BUT... will I have to pay for parking this weekend before I get my passes made? If so, will they reimburse the cost?

I know it's not a big deal, but if I cannot park for free on my visit this weekend to get my passes I may park at the outlet mall and go get my parking pass first.

Yes, you will park for free. Simply pay the $8 at the parking booth and take your recipt to Guest Services, show them your Platinum pass and you well get your $8 back in cash.

^If what CMT says works, then of course that would be your best option.

I was going to suggest that you initially park in the Guest Drop Off Parking Lot, get your pass processed and then go back to your car and park for free.

I hope Guest Services will ready for an onslaught of people ready to get that refund. I've waited 15 minutes in that line with only 4 people ahead of me. They handle so many situations and some of them can take forever.

Oh well, at least I gave you another option.
