What choo talkin' bout foo?

I am sorry, I think you are very misguided on that information. Flight School wasn't even gone that quick. As fun as the zip line and vertical trampoline were *sarcasm*, they even lasted a season and a half.

yea, no way they are going to get rid of a ride like that that was part of a HUGE expansion after only 1 year...especially when it is so popualr with park enthusiasts and families alike. I understand what you mean thrillseeker. I feel the same way about us needing a big flat ride soon. I would love a HUSS Giant Frisbee or any carnival style spinning rides and such.

Why, Would they get rid of The flyers? I see thet we need one but we don't need to take out a flat. Most likely Frenzoid will be the next flat to go.

Speaking of that flight school ride...did anyone ever ride that? Everytime i was around that area it was never opened i dont even know what it was. I remember when they had a bunjee trampoline in front of hurler and they had live bands and stuff that was interesting.....i hope we get some kind of "thrill ride" at least.....maybe they brought winterfest back to make money for the new ride(s).....

I enjoy the ride very much but the line is always to long and the load time is personaly unbearable. If my information is incorrect and I hope that it is then let the flyers fly on.

Why on earth would a park destroy a ride a year after operation, especially such a popular one.... and in a zone that has just been refurbished.. What would they put in its place.. i don't know if anyone else has heard this, but its not been tossed around anywhere... and IMO, its ridiculous...

and the wait time is as most 5-10 minutes usually, unless you go on Saturdays, when the park is full... Also, the employees are not the best, but are usually pretty friendly, even if the efficiency is bad...

The flyers are a flat ride and are better then Drop Zone, if you know what you are talking about.. Nick Central was an excellent addition to the park, and boosted attendance big time, especially for families. It was much needed. Sure, it would be nice to get a coaster every year, but that is just not practical...

I figured as much. I think that the bungee swing should go out. They charge to much for it and no one ever gets on it any more. That would free up room for 2 flat rides if they use the space sparingly. Knowing paramount they will never take that thing out. I really do think that we will get the water park expansion. Those tunnels are just to hot inside for me to ride them.

Hopefully the '06 announcement for Carowinds won't be muzzled by the sounds of everyone hauling a$$ down to SFoG to ride their new B&M Hyper.

Excuse me for being ignorant but what classifies a coaster as a "Hyper" coster?

What if a coaster is 201 ft. tall at it's highest point, but only has a 199 ft. drop? is it a hyper?

Well then it's not a 200+ foot drop now is it? Hyper, NO.

That question was specifically directed at manhattan express. 203 ft. tall and 144' drop.

Also, check out the definition of hyper at this link:

Is there an ACE definition for 'Hyper?' That might clear some things up a bit.
