Many of the tuesdays that lucas and I have gone, TR backwards has not been running.

lol... yeah i pretty much rode everything from about 10 until 2, and then it got to be too hot to be bearable...

after cooling off in wings i had about an hour til i met up w/ some friends.... so i looked around...


oh, and i figure they just close those rides because of the low numbers of employees and low no.'s of attendance... Yesterday must've been a lot lower, because most rides were only running one train (including Hurler, Cyclone, Borg,.. but not TG) AND the South Gate was closed all day long.....

Tuesdays are great! Plus i think that SC is in school, which makes these next few weeks the best time to go....

The yellow posts have been there, they are so cars don't hit Thunder Road's supports. Kinda like the ones in the Mickey D's drive thru.

As for the trailer...if it is what I think you are talking about, it's for the life guards and it's right behind the hotdog stand next to the entrance of water works. The only stand between the restrooms and Carolina Boardwalk is the funnel cake place. Oh, and Oscar's too, which is employee dining.

PGA has yet to anounce anything, Neither has PKI.

I would think PGA,PKI & PC's announcements would come withing the next week or 2.

we are generally one of the last to get the announcement. Hopefully those attending the C3 event will get a bit of a hint oor some definite news that they can share with us

I rode the one at PKI this year for 10 bucks. I thought it was awsome. I think if they just swapped it out with the skycoaster it would be great.

^ That one looks better than the one on the strip in Pigeon Forge. That thing looks like a lawsuite waiting to happen. I have yet to ride it too. lol

I'd LOVE to have a Giant Frisbee, Disk-O (Dollywood got one this year) or an S&S Screamin Swing. <--- Those things rock!!!

And as a sidenote, I really appreciate that the park has added new attractions for as long as they have now.

There are many parks out there that won't add a new ride for 10 years some times!

but i'm also the park has been adding...the last time the park didn't add something was in the 80s, when Taft or Kings were still owners....

Bring on the new fair.....

another good attraction would be a ferris wheel, which would fit perfectly in a fair-location and would be a nice addition for families and non-thrill seekers (considering the park usually considers both categories in revamps...)


IS IT County or Country???? I've always called it County but i'm sure the sign used to [before removed ] say country... anyone else know for sure?
